Manna and visions
God gave me new revelation the other day on my walk. I asked Him to reveal something new about Himself to me. He did. He's so cool! God gave the Israelites a vision of the Promised Land. He gave them manna to nourish them, sustain them and bless them. It was enough for the day...no more.

It is funny that you should post about this... I have been thinking about the Isrealites as well... I have been thinking that I am so much like them - I have SEEN first hand how God has provided for me and blessed me and yet when I look inward I can only see that I have had "no meat" or "I want to go back to Egypt" or "where is the water"... I have been reminding myself that the thing that messed the Isrealites up (in my little opinion) is that they forgot to remember...
That's why I love Heb. 11. I go back to it often and create in my heart my own Heb. 11...remembering the manna God has provided in my life!
